We at InkedFur like to give the customer a number of options on how the image will be laid out on the page.

Bordered: The full, uncropped image will be printed on the page. This will create borders around the entire paper, likely with a bit of white space to prevent cropping of the image. Most prints you buy at conventions are done this way. This is good if you plan to mat the image yourself, or you want a cheaper print. We typically do not offer this option on poster-size prints.

Full-Bleed: The image is printed so that every inch of the paper has ink on it; this is why it’s more expensive. Cropping may occur, but we do our best to communicate the appearance of the print on the product page. This is the best option if you plan to frame the image. If the image lacks a full-bleed background, then full-bleed won't be available. This is to save you some money.

Matted: This is our highest quality printing process. We will print a bordered print, then fit matting perfectly around it using the highest quality acid-free mat board. The interior will be bevel cut and will fit perfectly into a 8″ x 10″, 11″ x 14″, or a 16″ x 20″ frame depending on the size of paper you select.
